Beginner swim lessons
Beginner 1
Age: 18 months - 3 years. Class size: 3 children. Lesson length: 30 min
Cost: $33/class
For students who have taken a Parent Child or Water Introduction class with us, or for new students over 36 months who are comfortable in the water, proficient at swimming with a flotation device, will not mind separating from their caregiver, and can follow water safety instructions without constant prompting.
This level uses a flotation device to increase strength, confidence, and independence in the water.
Students in this level will work on safe entry and exit from the pool, putting their face in the water with breath control, rolling onto their back, back floating without a flotation device or assistance, and swimming with their face in the water without a flotation device or assistance.
From this level, students will graduate to Advanced Beginner.
Beginner 2
Age: 3 years - 5 years. Class size: 4 children. Lesson length: 30 min
Cost: $30/class
For students who have taken a Parent Child or Water Introduction class with us, or for new students who are comfortable in the water, and are proficient at swimming independently with a flotation device.
This level uses a flotation device to increase strength, confidence, and independence in the water.
Students in this level will work on safe entry and exit from the pool, putting their face in the water with breath control, rolling onto their back, back floating without a flotation device or assistance, and swimming with their face in the water without a flotation device or assistance.
From this level, students will graduate to Advanced Beginner.

Age: 5 years - 8 years. Class size: 4 children. Lesson length: 30 min
Cost: $30/class
For students who have taken a Water Introduction class with us, or for new students who may or may not be completely comfortable in the water, but are able to swim independently with a flotation device and will get their face wet.
This level uses a flotation device to increase strength, confidence, and independence in the water.
Students in this level will work on safe entry and exit from the pool, putting their face in the water with breath control, rolling onto their back, back floating without a flotation device or assistance, and swimming with their face in the water without a flotation device or assistance.
From this level, students will graduate to Advanced Beginner.
